La Vera is a beach front property in the Casa de Campo Resort, an ultra exclusive enclosed residential community in the south coast of the Dominican Republic. The property is located in the Punta Minitas area, just one kilometer away from the Marina and its boutiques, restaurants and supermarket. Guests, once registered, will be issued guest cards and have full access to all Casa de Campo resort facilities: golf (Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore and The Links courses), tennis courts, Shooting Center, Dude Ranch, Minitas Beach, Fitness Center, polo, and children day camp. Boat charters and deep sea fishing are available at La Marina The brightly colored five bedroom 750 square meter (approx. 8,100 sq. ft.) villa and its furniture combine elements of modernism and local Caribbean architecture. Accommodations include three ocean facing rooms, including a 70 square meter master bedroom on the second floor with a king sized bed, desk, closet bar with sink and refrigerator, dressing room, and large bathroom with views of the ocean. An additional 30 square meter ocean facing bedroom with a king sized bed sits on the second. Both open to a terrace with beautiful views of the beach and the Caribbean sea. The three 35 square meters downstairs bedrooms, one with a panoramic ocean facing window, have two queen sized beds and open to a deck leading to the garden and pool area. All bedrooms are equipped with TV, ceiling fan, air conditioner, and safe deposit boxes. All bedrooms are very spacious enjoying high ceilings (over 4 meters high), built-in closets, and en suite bathrooms. A large car port leads to the staircase, and a patio with fish pond and palm trees. The main sitting area includes a large living room and a raised dining area with a mahogany dinning table for ten. Both areas open to a covered outdoor terrace equipped with a round breakfast table for five, wooden lounge chairs, a swing bench, and sitting area with sofas. The villa is surrounded by a 3,500 sq. meters (0.87 acre) landscaped tropical garden. Many of the plants in the garden have been chosen to attract butterflies and humming birds. The garden includes a coconut grove front leading to a private beach. The beach is not open to the public with access is limited to La Vera and its neighboring houses. There are two gazebos with decks in the garden. The mahogany and glass windows of one of the smaller gazebo can be closed, turning the space into an air conditioned area with TV and DVD and CD player perfect for the hottest hours of the day. The larger open gazebo is next to the pool and has three large sofas, wooden lounge chairs and a teak dining table for ten benefiting from the nightly Caribbean breeze. The property benefits from a large and deep infinity swimming pool, located between the house and the beach. The villa also comprises a spacious fully equipped kitchen, a laundry area with washing machine, drier and sink and two maid quarters with built-in closets and bathrooms.
